We had a busy five days in N.Y.C. - let's create a way to remember all the sights! We can all work together to compile the memories! Everyone, please, take a couple of events/categories and create 1-2 scrapbook pages with the design of your choice!
Here are some ideas that need to be included, but feel free to add more to the list! Just comment on the post to select which pages you would like to be responsible for! After we get a good list, I'll post another sheet to let everyone know where to send their pictures!

New York Blooms
I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of flowers in bloom in the concrete jungle of New York City. It seemed like everywhere you looked, there was a burst of brilliant color.

Every time I've been to the Museum of Art, I've been impressed by the massive fresh flower arrangements. The pink dogwoods were no disappointment!
Even the trees were blooming. And tulips in Central Park will substitute for a missed trip to the Dallas Arboretum any year!
There were even bright tulips dividing traffic!

After The Show...
After the Muppets at New York's most famous concert hall, Jackson, Macy, and I crossed the street to New York's most famous deli. Judging from the packed tables, it is certainly New York's most famous deli! We had their trademark pickles, huge portions, and of course that famous New York City cheesecake!
How Do You Get To Carnegie Hall?
Through Central Park!!
Jackson would have enjoyed spending the entire trip hiking, climbing, and running in Central Park, but after a morning of shopping at FAO Schwartz, Macy, Jackson, and I broke away from the pack to see The Muppets at Carnegie Hall. I wasn't sure what to expect but I wanted Jackson to see New York City's most famous and beautiful concert hall. Although our seats were not good, Jackson did take a good nap. The show was cute with the real actors from one of Jackson's favorite TV shows, Sesame Street.
Macy, Ava, and I, with Jackson and stroller in tow, also made an interesting jaunt through Central Park via a well weighted down pedicab.
Museums
On Friday and Saturday afternoons, we visited the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Museum of Natural History. Jackson bounced from case to case saying, "Look at dis knight, look at dis knight." The medieval exhibit with lots of armor, shields and weapons was right up his alley. French Impressionism... was not!
Another thing right up the alley of a four year old boy was the huge dinosaurs at the Museum of Natural History. Jackson especially enjoyed the hands on room where you could build your own dinosaur.

Hakuna Matata
Kristin has already posted about her and Macy's Broadway show. The rest of us enjoyed Disney's The Lion King. I was pleasantly surprised that Jackson stayed awake for the entire first act. He was in awe of all the animals. Since, he has been marching like a hyena.
